Graphic & Web Designer
As the company’s sole graphic and web designer my role was to
lead various projects in creation, implementation and management.
I had to manage projects from concept to pre-press/ online. Typical
activities involved the production of printed material, websites,
adverts and general wide-ranging visual solutions for the company.
Working largely on my own I had to see projects through from start
to finish.

Graphic & Web Designer
Managed and led various projects from the initial stages of concept
and idea development to design, creation and final implementation
of said projects. Creative activities included the production of printed
material, web and intranet sites, multimedia presentations, adverts,
booth and exhibition productions, construction of press and media
packs and general wide-ranging visual solutions for the company. Event
activities included the hosting and organisation of media events,
congresses and seminars. Administrative activities included planning,
budgeting, reports, organising meetings, meet & greet, sourcing
of external suppliers, building and maintaining key client relationships.
Other responsibilities included drafting, proofreading, editing and
formatting of various documents and materials. |

I worked as a graphic and web designer within a team of designers
and programmers. Work included planning, designing, building and implementing
of all client work as well as liaising with the client (project management).
Daily pursuits included designing effective sites, on-line advertising,

U2, MTV, Channel 4, Irish Life, Madame Tussauds, University College
Dublin and Irish Ferries for example. |

I worked as a graphic designer for Norwich Union Insurance Company
(now Hibernian) in the creation and production of their graphical
works. Design works included corporate material, brochures, invitations,

| Native English speaker with fluency in Gaelic and
a comprehension of French. |
My main hobbies are Art, Design and Music. I continue
my devotion to art and design through my work and employment. Music
on the other hand is a pastime where I regularly attend gigs and concerts.
I enjoy travelling, socialising and meeting new people. I also play
hurling (an outdoor team sport of ancient Celtic origin, administered
by the Gaelic Athletic Association, and played with sticks and a ball)
three times a week in Brussels where I also act as the club's PRO
(Public Relations Officer).
